Garden History - Ten years later.

Time passes quickly and it's not always easy to keep track of which changes were made when.  It just occurred to me that the garden is now ten years old and it started with part of the wall falling into the drive. 

This tree is still in place. The pampas grass went when the wall was reduced.

to fix the wall we hired a nice man with a JCB.  He reduced the wall by about a third to relieve pressure on the rest.

once he was finished, we started planting.

Two years later, (May 2008) it already had some form.

Ten Years later, same wall.

Same tree.

You can't see from one end to the other.

It will not likely ever be finished but at least it's closer to what I want it to be.
