Last evening to the Jardins d’Eyrignac for the opening of the Festival du Perigord Noir, thanks to friends and part-time neighbours Michael and Deborah, accompanied by their friend Angela.

We picnicked on the grass beside the Fountain of the Four Spitting Frogs and then attended the performance of "Franz et Marie", readings from correspondence of Franz Liszt and the comtesse Marie d’Agoult with music of the period.

I captured some of the activities on video but You Tube tells me I shouldn't up load them without permission of the performers so here's a bit of the closing fireworks - -
