Triggerfish Brewing

Our friend Jim introduced us to Christine who operates a micro-brewery/brew-pub in what was originally a dynamite factory.

The factory was initiated by Alfred Nobel to aid the mining industry and the Kimberly hole was created using dynamite made here. The Paardevlei area near somerset West is still owned by AECI who have ambitious development plans for the site.

Besides making some 19 different beers ranging from lagers to stouts, Christine serves great pub lunches with the best wurst and fries we've found in the Cape.  And ...you can make interesting images.
