Popular culture 101.
In an effort to avoid the Christmas crowds we've been hanging out at the movies more than we do at home.
If you like a good, old fashioned cow-boy and Indian story, (where the Indians win!), set in the year 2154, or you just like your chicks tall, dark, and....blue - you must see Avatar. Well worth every $100 million he spent.
For romantic foodies, Julie & Julia can't be beat. M Streep just gets better and better.
We may be a little biased but Invictus is worth seeing as well. There are probably those who say it could have been done by South Africans but it wasn't and that doesn't detract at all.

Lunch today at Waterkloof, perched on a hill overlooking False Bay with views of the mountains to one side and the ocean on the other. A rare bit of lamb, wines by the glass (Susan figures two glasses = half a litre!) and a trip to the gym again tomorrow. We had a quiet Christmas and New Years waiting for the crowds to go home so today we deserved a little extra. Bon appetit!
