The hydrangea do quite well under the tree in spite of facing south.
The new gate looks better with some plants around it.

Carlux celebrates by gathering in front of the chateau on the evening of the 13th for eating, drinking and socializing.
Children parade with torches and there are fireworks over the chateau at midnight.

These were taken with the fireworks setting on the G9, which has an exposure time of two seconds, too long in my opinion.
